How does it work
A pixelated image is made of blocks, and each block holds one colour. The tool finds the block size and grid, turns every block back into the single pixel it came from, and then rebuilds a smooth image from those pixels. Photo mode makes sure that pixelating the result again gives you the same blocks you started with.
Can it restore the exact original
No. Pixelation throws away the detail inside each block, so any tool can only estimate it. This one keeps every colour your image still has and fills in the rest smoothly. AI mode adds more convincing texture, but that texture is still an estimate.
Why was my image refused
The tool fixes images that are pixelated all over, such as enlarged thumbnails, blocky screenshots and pixel art. It does not process a mosaic patch over only part of a photo, like a hidden face, number plate or text. That detail is gone, and filling it in would only invent something.
Is my image uploaded
Photo and Pixel art modes run in your browser and nothing is uploaded. AI mode uploads only the small version of your image, one pixel per block, never the full picture.
