Frequently Asked Questions
How do I resize an image without stretching it?
Enter only the width or only the height and the other side is worked out for you. If you enter both, choose Keep shape to fit inside that size, or Crop to fill to get the exact size with the edges trimmed from the centre.
Can I resize many images at once?
Yes. Add up to 50 images and they are all resized with the same settings. Download them one by one or as a ZIP file.
Will resizing reduce quality?
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Making it larger than the original cannot add detail, so it may look soft. For photos saved as JPG or WebP you can also set the quality.
What size should an Instagram post be?
Use 1080×1080 for square posts, 1080×1350 for portrait posts and 1080×1920 for Stories and Reels. All three are presets in the tool.
Can I resize HEIC photos from an iPhone?
Yes. HEIC photos are opened in your browser and saved as JPG by default, which works everywhere.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Resizing happens in your browser on your own device.
